About This Role

Our esteemed educational institution is committed to fostering academic excellence and is located in the dynamic community of The Pearl.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and committed SEND teacher to join our newly launched school, with the role anticipated to start in August 2026. Applicants should be ready to begin in mid-August 2026.

United School International is the first and likely the only educational institution in The Pearl, serving the children of the local community. This prime location, coupled with its stunning design and facilities, makes The Pearl an attractive area for both expatriate and local families, contributing to its swift growth and desirability as a living and working environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience as a SEND practitioner and play a vital role in assisting students who face educational challenges and those struggling to connect with the curriculum.

Our school features cutting-edge facilities designed to promote teaching excellence, including advanced touch screen technology, specialized technology labs, art studios, and beautifully landscaped indoor and outdoor play areas. Additional amenities consist of a 450-seat auditorium/theatre, a STEAM and robotics room, swimming pools, badminton, volleyball, tennis, basketball courts, and a full-sized football pitch.

In recognition of your outstanding teaching and commitment to our students, we provide a highly competitive tax-free salary along with a comprehensive benefits package, which includes accommodation in The Pearl and easy access to various local amenities.

We are looking for dedicated and exemplary teaching professionals who can demonstrate effective leadership in the classroom. Candidates must:

- Hold qualifications as a SEND specialist with experience in the UK curriculum.
- Show strong collaborative skills within team environments.
- Possess excellent communication skills with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders.
- Prioritize high-quality teaching, student learning, and well-being in their decision-making processes.

As a British International School offering the English National Curriculum to a diverse international student body, proficiency in English is crucial, and we will prioritize applications from strong English speakers.
