About This Role

Chapel Bridge School is an independent special institution located in the center of Plymouth, catering to students aged 6 to 19.

Our innovative and personalized learning approach emphasizes well-being and the development of independence skills. Upon enrollment, we assess each student’s unique interests and aspirations, constructing a project-based curriculum tailored to their needs. This process equips them to reach their objectives and thrive.

In light of our ongoing expansion, we are seeking passionate and proactive classroom teachers who are eager to embrace contemporary methods of educating students with social, emotional, and mental health needs.

We recognize the significance of establishing meaningful relationships with both students and their families, fostering the development of trust and shared enjoyment. Our philosophy is rooted in care and connection, and we strive to ensure that all staff members also feel valued and supported.

We are deeply committed to delivering high-quality professional development opportunities for our staff. As part of a growing organization, we offer substantial chances for collaboration with colleagues, enhancing innovative teaching practices.

The well-being of our staff is a top priority; we provide avenues to acknowledge their hard work and commitment while promoting a balanced work-life dynamic. We continually evaluate our practices to allow our team to concentrate on what truly matters: creating a rich learning environment where children and young adults can flourish.

We appreciate that each of our schools serves its unique community, yet we maintain that all schools adhere to the Spaghetti Bridge methodologies, which guarantee high expectations and equal opportunities for every student.

We encourage early applications, as we may fill the position before the closing date. Interviews for this role are scheduled for 23/04/26.
