We are seeking passionate, reflective, and dedicated Early Childhood educators to join our team, helping our youngest learners grow academically, socially, and emotionally in a bilingual, inquiry-based environment.

As an English Primary Lead Teacher, you will alternate teaching two primary classes in collaboration with a target language Lead Teacher. By joining our vibrant educational community, you will play a vital role in shaping our students' learning experiences, focusing on both academic achievement and social-emotional development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that connect classroom learning to real-life situations, sparking enthusiasm and promoting academic success in line with IB and state standards.
  • Tailor instruction using a variety of developmentally suitable teaching and assessment methods to support all learners.
  • Monitor and encourage the academic, emotional, and social development of students.
  • Maintain high standards for student behavior to foster a positive and productive classroom environment.
  • Effectively integrate technology to enrich students' learning experiences.
  • Cultivate a strong sense of community by actively connecting with students, colleagues, and families.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, leadership, and staff throughout the school.
  • Commit to continuous professional growth and contribute to a culture of ongoing improvement.
  • Participate in curriculum development, team planning, and faculty meetings.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Fluency in English
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Preferred Master’s degree in Education or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Elementary/Primary education
  • Experience with the IB PYP and/or dual language programs is preferred

Salary

  • Starting at $65,000
