Learning Assistant
About This Role
Starting in August, the Jataka School is thrilled to announce a vacancy for a Learning Assistant within our Early Years department, serving students aged 3 to 5. Our unique approach focuses on weaving together and rejuvenating Asian wisdom traditions while applying the Middle Way Education's early years and primary program from Woodstock, NY, right in the lively core of Southeast Asia.
We are looking for an adept Learning Assistant who will play a crucial role in our educational team, fostering student well-being and aiding in their academic success. The Learning Assistant will work in close partnership with classroom teachers in planning, delivering lessons, and enriching the overall educational experience to uphold the highest standards.
In this position, the Learning Assistant will be key to establishing and nurturing an engaging and developmentally appropriate learning space. Responsibilities will include assisting with classroom organization and resource distribution to create an inviting and effective learning atmosphere. Additionally, within our play-based educational framework, Learning Assistants will support children's growth and reinforce their skills through spontaneous planning.
We are especially keen on candidates who are proficient in Thai, English, and Mandarin to join our founding team. Our group comprises passionate educators who value both professional and personal growth. If this aligns with your aspirations, we would love to hear from you.
