About This Role
We are seeking an outstanding Lead Learning Support Assistant to join our dedicated Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) team. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with the Assistant SENCO to support our team of Teaching Assistants, deploy resources effectively, and plan, deliver and review targeted small group and one to one interventions for students with diverse learning needs.
You will act as a key liaison between teachers, support staff, parents, and external agencies, ensuring that every student with SEND receives the tailored provision they need to thrive academically and socially.
The successful candidate should have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an empathetic and professional approach. They should have a calm and adaptable demeanor and a genuine passion for enabling all children to succeed.
