About This Role

About our School
Hanoi Toronto School is truly a unique institution in Vietnam. Established in August 2022, it stands as the sole provider of international and integrated programs for Primary and Secondary levels (Grades 1-12) that align with the Ontario, Canada Curriculum.

In Canada, the Ontario Curriculum is widely recognized for its capability to assist every student in realizing their full potential through a structured learning program that is coherent, relevant, and appropriate for their age. It acknowledges the necessity for students to be critically literate, allowing them to synthesize information, make informed decisions, communicate effectively, and succeed in an ever-evolving global landscape. It is crucial for students to connect with the curriculum, recognizing themselves in what is taught, the methods employed, and how it relates to the broader world. The curriculum is designed to accommodate diverse learner needs, ensuring all students acquire the knowledge, skills, and perspectives required to become informed, productive, caring, responsible, and active citizens within their communities and the world at large.

Ontario has established curriculum frameworks, resources, and achievement standards in various subjects at both primary and secondary levels. The curriculum undergoes periodic revisions, developed in consultation with curriculum experts, parents, teachers, and other stakeholders. The Ontario Ministry of Education offers sample activities and assessment rubrics that align with the curriculum by grade and subject, enabling teachers to integrate activities and evaluations that directly adhere to the curriculum goals.

At HTS, this curriculum framework, comparable to other prominent global education systems, has been tailored to reflect both our international and Vietnamese contexts.

International Schools Partnership (ISP)
HTS is part of the International Schools Partnership (ISP), one of the largest networks of international education, with over 90 schools across more than 20 countries. Both students and staff benefit from the ISP community by engaging in a variety of global learning opportunities. ISP prioritizes the professional development of its employees through its Learning First strategy.

HTS has a sister institution in Ontario, Lynn-Rose, a distinguished Canadian private IB world school, and a member of the International Schools Partnership. Collaboration with Lynn-Rose College allows our students the opportunity to earn the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) and facilitates study in Canada at Lynn-Rose through exchange or transfer.

Hanoi Toronto School is dedicated to providing students with exceptional educational outcomes using the latest teaching and learning methodologies, all within newly constructed, state-of-the-art facilities. At HTS, students are promised Amazing Learning, ensuring significant progress, performance, and success. Our learners are central to our mission; their achievements define our own.

At HTS, children are the focus of our endeavors. They are encouraged to embody kindness, trustworthiness, respect, and accountability for their actions. The school fosters an environment conducive to academic and social growth, equipping them for a successful future.

With cutting-edge facilities—including a theater for music and arts performances, multiple sports amenities, ICT suites featuring the latest digital learning technologies, and remarkable outdoor learning areas—HTS proudly boasts some of the finest facilities among international and private schools in Hanoi.

HTS is currently seeking to hire 1 Full-time ICT teacher who is dynamic, adaptable, and innovative to join our educational team for the upcoming school year.
