Starting in January 2025, this role is a fixed-term, part-time contract for one year to cover a staff member on leave. Relocation assistance is available.
Skills and experience
The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of the Australian Curriculum and effective teaching practices in the Humanities subject area.
Additionally, the successful applicant will fully embrace the Christian values and beliefs of Freshwater Christian College and will seek a position that allows them to leverage their talents and skills to positively influence the lives of our students and the broader College community.

Essential qualifications and requirements
1. Relevant tertiary qualifications in teaching.
2. Queensland College of Teachers Registration (or the ability to obtain it).
3. Full alignment with the values, virtues, and Christian beliefs of Freshwater Christian College.
4. Ability to affirm the College’s Statement of Faith.
5. Compliance with College policies, procedures, codes of conduct, and training requirements, including those related to work health and safety, risk management, child protection, and confidentiality.
6. Capacity to collaborate effectively with all members of the College community.
