About This Role

The British School of Barcelona (BSB) is an outstanding institution located in a beautiful setting. As an HMC school, we were recently evaluated by a BSO (British Schools Overseas) inspection and received top marks across all areas, including educational quality, safeguarding, student wellbeing, and academic achievements.

BSB caters to a diverse student body aged 3 to 18 and is a well-regarded school with a strong following. Our educational framework is rooted in the English National Curriculum, offering an extensive selection of GCSEs, A levels, and the International Baccalaureate Diploma, complemented by a robust enrichment programme.

With over 2000 students from more than 74 different nationalities, BSB employs over 315 staff members across three campuses. In 2026, we will be expanding with a new state-of-the-art campus in Maresme, located to the east of Barcelona. This new facility will initially accommodate students from Nursery to Year 6 in 2026, with plans to extend to Year 13 by 2028. This exciting development will feature modern classrooms, science laboratories, well-equipped music and art spaces, dedicated areas for play and social interaction, as well as indoor and outdoor sports facilities, all set against a stunning backdrop of mountains and coastline. This environment is truly exceptional for educational pursuits.

BSB has built a strong reputation for delivering an excellent student experience, achieving impressive academic results, and for a curriculum that emphasizes character development and a global mindset. Our commitment to continual improvement is reflected in our approach to teacher development through active professional learning communities and reflective practices.

As we continue to grow, we are searching for an outstanding educator to join our team. If you are ready to embark on an exciting career journey and contribute to something special, we would love to hear from you.

We are currently offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced PE Primary Teacher to join our dynamic staff at BSB.
