Elementary Physical Education Teacher (AY 26-27)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Elementary Physical Education Teacher to become a part of our school community. The ideal candidate will be tasked with delivering engaging, age-appropriate, and safe physical education lessons that foster physical literacy, teamwork, and habits for a healthy lifestyle among elementary students.

Key Responsibilities

•
Develop and instruct Elementary PE classes (Grades 3–4) in accordance with the school curriculum

•
Create structured lessons that emphasize fundamental movement skills, fitness, and collaboration

•
Ensure student safety and the proper handling of equipment during all PE activities

•
Assist with school-wide events such as Sports Day, fitness challenges, and PE-related initiatives

•
Collaborate with fellow PE team members and homeroom teachers

•
Engage in curriculum development, assessment, and participate in professional meetings

Required Qualifications

•
Native or near-native English proficiency

•
1–2 years of teaching experience in Elementary Physical Education (required)

•
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related discipline

•
Eligibility for a work permit in Taiwan

Preferred Qualifications

•
Possession of a valid teaching license or teaching certificate (highly preferred)

•
Experience in international or bilingual educational environments

•
Strong skills in classroom management and student engagement

•
Background in organizing school sports events or fitness programs
