Egypt British International School (EBIS) is on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled Primary Teacher to join our faculty for the 2026 academic year. Requirements:
•
A Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related discipline, along with recognised Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
•
At least 2 years of successful teaching experience, ideally in an international British-curriculum environment.
•
In-depth knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Primary education.
•
Proven ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons.
•
Expertise in positive classroom management that encourages respect and high standards.
•
Experience in utilizing formative and summative assessments to enhance student progress.
•
Strong skills in collaboration and communication.
Job Description:
•
Plan and implement high-quality lessons that align with the UK National Curriculum.
•
Establish a safe, inclusive, and well-structured classroom environment.
•
Assess, monitor, and document student progress, providing timely feedback and interventions when necessary.
•
Maintain accurate records and reports in accordance with school policies and safeguarding standards.
•
Effectively communicate with parents/guardians to support student academic progress and wellbeing.
•
Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, moderation, and whole-school initiatives.
•
Encourage students’ social-emotional development and exemplify the school’s core values.
•
Participate in weekly CPD sessions and pursue ongoing professional development.
•
Contribute to enrichment and co-curricular activities.
