Science Teacher

Key Responsibilities

•
Design and implement engaging, well-organized lessons

•
Tailor instruction to accommodate the varied needs of students and foster academic growth for all

•
Establish a positive, inclusive, and well-structured classroom atmosphere that encourages high standards and student participation

•
Utilize both formative and summative assessments to track progress, guide teaching strategies, and enhance student achievement

•
Assist in the academic, social, and emotional development of students in alignment with IB learner profile attributes

•
Effectively prepare students for external assessments at IGCSE and A Level

•
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development, exchange best practices, and continually improve teaching and learning outcomes

Requirements:

Essential

•
Bachelor’s Degree in Science or a related discipline

•
At least 3 years of experience teaching Science at the Secondary School level

•
Experience with IGCSE and/or A Level Science is essential

•
Strong skills in classroom and behavior management

•
Demonstrated ability to support and enhance student progress

•
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

•
Fluent or native-level proficiency in English

Desirable

•
Experience in teaching the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP)

•
Experience in international school environments
