ROLE SUMMARY:

King’s School The Crown is situated on expansive grounds featuring world-class educational and athletic facilities, allowing students to engage in a wide array of interests. Our purpose-built campus, covering over 40,000m2, is located in the heart of The Crown, a prestigious gated community in 6th October City, Cairo. The school accommodates students aged 18 months to 18 years and boasts state-of-the-art amenities, including a full football field, a 400m athletic track, a covered 25m swimming pool with an additional learner pool, an indoor multi-purpose sports hall, outdoor multipurpose courts, and a 522-seat Performing Arts theatre.

We are in search of an exceptional, dedicated, and enthusiastic KS2 Primary Teacher to join King’s School The Crown, with the position commencing in August 2026.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Excellence in Teaching and Learning: Design and implement engaging, well-structured lessons that spark intellectual curiosity, creativity, and academic rigor. Ensure that learning is effectively differentiated to cater to the varied needs of students, enabling all to achieve remarkable progress aligned with the school's curriculum and standards.


Assessment and Academic Progress: Employ a variety of assessment techniques to monitor, evaluate, and support student achievement. Offer timely, constructive feedback to encourage improvement and uphold a commitment to high standards for every learner.


Promoting the King’s Ethos: Uphold and exemplify the values and ethos of King’s School The Crown, ensuring students thrive in an environment that fosters integrity, respect, and a genuine passion for learning.


Professional Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues across various subjects and phases to share expertise, cultivate best practices, and contribute to a culture of professional development and innovation.


Contribution to School Life: Actively engage in the broader life of the school, including co-curricular and enrichment programs. Support school events and initiatives that enhance the educational experience and foster a sense of community.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:


An undergraduate degree in a relevant subject area, along with a recognized teaching qualification; a PGCE or Bachelor's in Education is highly desirable.


At least 3+ years of post-qualification experience.


Experience teaching primary-aged children within the UK curriculum framework.


An undergraduate degree in a relevant subject area.


Demonstrable relevant CPD showcasing current skills and subject knowledge in teaching practice.


Experience and/or qualifications in delivering an English program to an ESL student body.


Fluency in English.
