KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Instruct and oversee a primary class in accordance with IB PYP and curriculum guidelines.


Design and implement engaging lessons tailored to the age group across core subjects.


Cultivate a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes comprehensive student development.


Employ inquiry-based learning techniques to enhance critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.


Continuously evaluate and monitor student progress, adjusting teaching methods to accommodate varied needs.


Team up with colleagues on interdisciplinary initiatives and actively participate in school projects.


Promote student involvement in extracurricular activities to support their social and personal growth.


Keep precise records of student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and their parents.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:


A degree in Education or a related area, along with a recognized teaching qualification.


Experience in teaching, ideally within an international or IB school setting.


Familiarity and skills in using inquiry-based and student-centered pedagogical approaches.


Demonstrated ability to foster a positive and engaging classroom environment that encourages active learning.


Strong communication abilities and a collaborative spirit when working with colleagues, parents, and students.


Adaptability and flexibility in a vibrant, multicultural context.


A dedication to contributing to the broader school community.
