Position Overview:
• Committed to enhancing students' understanding of how information technology integrates into their academic journeys.
• Solid grasp of both basic and advanced information technology principles.
• Design, develop, and assemble a comprehensive information technology curriculum, ensuring high-quality instruction.
• Employ various technological and pedagogical tools in an engaging manner to address the needs of the modern classroom, complemented by innovative classroom management.
• Deliver high-quality instruction while executing the teaching program that promotes higher-order thinking skills progressively.
• Introduce foundational concepts of information technology to primary students and provide upper-level students with exposure to more advanced programming and skills.
• Keep abreast of the latest technology trends to provide students with current knowledge relevant to their levels.
• Evaluate students' learning abilities through effective engagement.
• Carry out essential daily tasks, including creating lesson plans, coursework, projects, and assessing students.
• Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians regarding each student's progress and development.
• Teach students about the proper use, care, and safe handling of equipment.
General Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a Bachelor’s degree in any field with a Postgraduate Certificate/Diploma in Education (PGCE/PGDE).
• Familiarity with the MYP and key elements of the curriculum frameworks is a plus.
• Newly qualified educators or those with teaching experience at a recognized educational institution.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The iPGCE (assessment only) does not meet the Teacher Registration status criteria from the Hong Kong Education Bureau, which is essential for teaching at an ESF school.
