Secondary History Teacher

Requirements and Experience:

Essential:

  • A bachelor’s degree relevant to the teaching subject or an equivalent qualification
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent credential
  • Strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for History that you are eager to share with students
  • Experience in teaching GCSE and A Level courses
  • At least 3 years of teaching experience, though new educators with outstanding potential will also be considered
  • Ability to consistently deliver engaging lessons with a proven history of achieving exceptional results
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • A demonstrated commitment to recent professional development relevant to this role
  • Creative ideas to enhance the department's visibility within the school
  • Strong ICT skills that integrate technology into modern teaching practices
  • Commitment to the extracurricular program
  • Dedication to the welfare and pastoral care of all students entrusted to your care
  • An innovative, creative, and optimistic approach

Desirable:

  • Experience working internationally or with students from diverse backgrounds
