Position Overview: We are seeking a qualified and experienced Key Stage 2 Primary teacher to become a part of our enthusiastic and dedicated team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a genuine enthusiasm for teaching, a commitment to the holistic development of children, and a collaborative approach that reflects the school’s ethos, values, and goals.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A recognized degree in a relevant discipline from an accredited institution, along with a PGCE, QTS, or another internationally accepted teaching qualification.

• At least three years of teaching experience in a primary school environment.

• A strong commitment to upholding high standards, employing a variety of teaching strategies, and a demonstrated record of ongoing professional development.

• Competence in using modern educational information technology systems.

• Proven exemplary classroom practice in the relevant subject area, preferably with external validation.

• Up-to-date knowledge of Safeguarding and Child Protection protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide pastoral, academic, and behavioral support for students.

• Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in formal assessment processes.

• Aid parents in making referrals to external agencies as needed.

• Collaborate with parents, staff, and students on Individual Education Plans.

• Communicate effectively with parents through reports and meetings.

• Participate in and lead extracurricular activities.

Salary and Benefits:

• A competitive salary ranging from CI$55,000 to CI$67,500 per year, tax-free, based on experience and qualifications.
