ROLE SUMMARY:

King’s School The Crown is situated on vast grounds that feature top-tier educational and athletic facilities, allowing students to explore a diverse range of interests. Our purpose-built campus, which spans over 40,000m2, is located in the esteemed gated community of The Crown in 6th October City, Cairo. The school serves students aged 18 months to 18 years and offers cutting-edge amenities, including a full football field, a 400m athletic track, a covered 25m swimming pool with an additional learner pool, an indoor multi-purpose sports hall, outdoor multipurpose courts, and a 522-seat Performing Arts theatre.

We are seeking an outstanding, committed, and enthusiastic KS2 Primary Teacher to join King’s School The Crown, with the position set to begin in August 2026.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Excellence in Teaching and Learning: Develop and deliver engaging, well-organized lessons that ignite intellectual curiosity, creativity, and academic rigor. Ensure that instruction is effectively tailored to meet the diverse needs of students, enabling everyone to make significant progress in line with the school's curriculum and standards.


Assessment and Academic Progress: Utilize a range of assessment methods to monitor, evaluate, and support student learning. Provide timely, constructive feedback to foster improvement and maintain high expectations for every learner.


Promoting the King’s Ethos: Embody and promote the values and ethos of King’s School The Crown, ensuring that students flourish in an environment that emphasizes integrity, respect, and a heartfelt passion for learning.


Professional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues across different subjects and phases to share knowledge, develop best practices, and contribute to a culture of professional growth and innovation.


Contribution to School Life: Actively participate in the wider life of the school, including co-curricular and enrichment activities. Support school events and initiatives that enhance the educational experience and promote community spirit.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:


An undergraduate degree in a relevant subject area, along with a recognized teaching qualification; a PGCE or Bachelor's in Education is highly preferred.


A minimum of 3+ years of post-qualification experience.


Experience teaching primary-aged students within the UK curriculum framework.


An undergraduate degree in a relevant subject area.


Evidence of relevant continuing professional development that highlights current skills and subject knowledge in teaching practice.


Experience and/or qualifications in delivering an English program to an ESL student population.


Fluency in English.
