About This Role

Due to a rise in student enrollment, Al Rabeeh Academy is on the lookout for passionate, flexible, and dedicated primary school teachers to start immediately.

Al Rabeeh Academy is a stunning, purpose-built institution that opened its doors in August 2017 and is part of an expanding network of schools. The Al Rabeeh brand has been recognized throughout the city for its high standards of education and pastoral support since 1979. Our school is affiliated with British Schools in the Middle East (BSME), which offers excellent avenues for inter-school competitions, tournaments, and professional development.

As a bilingual private school catering to students from FS1 to Year 13, Al Rabeeh Academy delivers the English National Curriculum alongside Arabic. We seek candidates who are dedicated team players, brimming with the energy and enthusiasm to contribute to the development of Al Rabeeh Academy, with potential for internal advancement as the academy grows.

Candidates must resonate with the ethos and values of Al Rabeeh Academy, which serves a considerable number of Arabic-speaking students. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, feeling comfortable engaging in open dialogue with students, faculty, and parents. Applicants are expected to lead by example and actively participate in the academy’s extracurricular activities program.

Applicants must be fluent in English, possess a relevant degree along with primary level teaching qualifications, and have at least 2 years of teaching experience in schools that implement the National Curriculum of England.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate:

• Comprehensive knowledge of the National Curriculum
• Familiarity with current UK educational initiatives and developments
• A strong commitment to achieving excellence in learning, teaching, and educational leadership, with a belief in the potential of children to meet high expectations in supportive environments
• The ability to foster creative learning and focus on developing 21st Century learning environments and innovative skills
• Proficiency in using technology to enhance and extend students' learning experiences
• Experience in leveraging data from internal assessments, standardized tests, and external assessments to monitor student progress
• Experience teaching EAL students is preferred but not mandatory
