Ardingly Astana opened its doors to its first intake of pupils in September 2024. In its first year of operation, the school catered to primary school pupils in years 1 to 6. School has now opened the first phase of its secondary school (Years 7-9).

We are preparing to expand our school to a two-form entry and move into our purpose-built school in August 2026. We are now seeking high-calibre candidates with the experience, energy, and enthusiasm to thrive as members of our expanding team. All teachers at Ardingly Astana will be responsible for developing and maintaining a warm, nurturing environment where pupils will develop a lifelong passion for learning and acquire key learning skills both inside and outside the classroom.

The successful candidate will join a team of committed and enthusiastic teachers who will lead the way in inspirational teaching and follow best teaching practices commensurate with Ardingly's standards, establishing the school amongst the very best international schools both locally and regionally.

Shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete the Ardingly application form with the names and contact details of two professional referees (to include your current or most recent head teacher if you have been employed in a school).

Please note that the school will consider only candidates with formal teaching qualifications (QTS or equivalent) and at least two years of teaching experience.

Successful applicants must have:

An educational degree, such as a Bachelor’s in Education Degree or a related field.

A certified teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS with an Induction Certificate or equivalent (the PGCE must be accompanied by a subject relevant Bachelor’s Degree)

Minimum two years of teaching experience (international experience is an advantage but not required)

Exceptional subject knowledge, with extensive experience of teaching the British National Curriculum and/or Cambridge.

A passion for fostering a pupil focused learning environment.

A commitment to professional growth and a collaborative approach to teaching.

A proven track record of providing outstanding teaching and learning.

A commitment to actively participate in extracurricular activities after school hours
