We are currently seeking a dynamic and talented Head of Performing Arts to lead our Arts Department at the secondary school level, including key stage 5.

Job Overview:
The Head of Performing Arts will be responsible for designing and executing an engaging performing arts program that inspires students and nurtures creativity in drama, music, art, and photography. This leadership role involves collaborating closely with faculty to enhance curriculum delivery while maintaining high standards in line with the UK curriculum framework.

Skills and Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Performing Arts, Arts, Education, or a related field (minimum requirement)
- At least 2 years of experience teaching performing arts in a secondary/high school setting
- Thorough understanding of the UK national curriculum for performing arts and related subjects
- Proven leadership skills with a preference for experience in managing teams or departments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively engage students, parents, and colleagues
- Capable of developing innovative lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles
- Experience in organizing performances, events, and extracurricular activities related to performing arts/arts
