Grade 5 Elementary Teacher - Immediate Start

- Create and deliver captivating lessons that adhere to curriculum standards, tailoring them to accommodate various learning preferences and meet the needs of all students, including those who are ESL and gifted.
- Keep thorough records of lesson planning, assessments, and attendance, ensuring adherence to school policies and conduct codes.
- Integrate media and technology effectively in the classroom to enrich the learning experience.
- Support student progress and well-being through academic mentorship, behavior management, and the promotion of cultural awareness.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to create teaching materials and actively contribute to the school’s co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
- Maintain regular communication with parents to update them on their child's progress, while respecting confidentiality when necessary.
- Engage in staff meetings, school functions, and additional duties as required, demonstrating a commitment that extends beyond typical work hours.
- Take part in appraisal and Performance Management processes, as well as Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
