Mistahi Sipiy Elementary School, located in Big River First Nation, is seeking a motivated and passionate Grade 4 Teacher to join their team for the 2026-2027 school year.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement lesson plans that encompass various subjects for students
• Evaluate and grade students’ comprehension and performance related to the curriculum
• Communicate effectively with students and parents to address educational concerns
• Cultivate a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment that encourages student growth
• Create lesson plans and teaching strategies that meet school standards
• Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and identify areas needing improvement
• Establish an engaging learning atmosphere that caters to the unique needs of each student
• Plan and organize lesson materials and activities, including quizzes, competitions, and group discussions
• Supervise and manage classroom behavior and activities

Requirements:
• Exceptional scheduling skills
• Strong organizational abilities
• Bachelor of Education degree and a Saskatchewan Professional A teaching certificate
• Proficient classroom management skills
• Ability to teach students with varying learning needs
• Knowledge of the Saskatchewan Curriculum
• Experience in cross-cultural settings is advantageous
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
• Must submit a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract and a Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector Check
• Verification of prior teaching experience is necessary (if applicable)
