We are seeking passionate, committed, and highly qualified educators to apply for the following position starting in September 2025.
English Teacher
Abraham Lincoln School is a private co-educational institution serving 480 students aged 4 to 18, supported by a diverse team of 36 teachers, including 25 from the UK. The school is celebrated for its strong academic standards, excellent discipline, and nurturing environment. The curriculum is delivered in English and aligns with the British National Curriculum. Candidates must possess a minimum of two years of teaching experience and be eager to engage in our wide array of extracurricular activities.
Initial contracts are for two years, with the possibility of annual renewal based on mutual agreement. Benefits offered include return airfares, furnished housing, an annual bonus, baggage allowance, settling-in allowance, a medical plan, and membership to the company club, which features amenities such as a swimming pool, restaurant, and bar. Teachers also have access to a variety of sports and leisure facilities at the Casa de Campo resort, which is also owned by Central Romana Corporation, including beaches, marinas, golf, tennis, horseback riding, water sports, and a cinema.
The Dominican Republic, located on the eastern half of the Caribbean island of Hispaniola, boasts a population exceeding 10 million, stunning beaches, a tropical climate, stable governance, and a favorable tax environment.
