This position plays a crucial role in promoting children's early literacy and language skills through playful and inquiry-driven educational experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional Arabic language instruction utilizing Modern Standard Arabic (MSA), aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) or an equivalent curriculum.
- Inspire a passion for the Arabic language using songs, storytelling, games, and interactive activities.
- Facilitate the holistic development of children—cognitive, emotional, physical, and social—through age-appropriate methodologies.
- Engage effectively with children during focused group sessions, tailoring approaches to accommodate individual needs and developmental levels.
- Collaborate with English-speaking educators to create a bilingual and immersive classroom setting.
- Plan, evaluate, and document children's learning with clearly defined outcomes and observational insights.
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents and caregivers regarding students' progress and wellbeing.
- Help cultivate a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment that showcases children's learning.
- Actively participate in the life of the early years school, including events, performances, and extracurricular activities.
- Commit to ongoing professional development and reflective teaching practices.
Job Specification
- A Bachelor’s degree in education, early childhood education, Arabic Language, or a related field.
- Proven proficiency in Modern Standard Arabic (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Competent spoken and written communication skills in English.
- A strong record of attendance, punctuality, and professional dedication in prior academic or work experiences.
- At least 1 year of experience or completion of a relevant teaching internship or training in an early years setting.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50 (or equivalent) in relevant undergraduate studies.
- A solid understanding of early childhood development and age-appropriate teaching methods.
- A creative, energetic, and compassionate nature with a true passion for educating young children.
- The ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
