Mistahi Sipiy Elementary School, situated in Big River First Nation, is on the lookout for a dynamic and enthusiastic Grade 4 Teacher to become part of their team for the 2026-2027 academic year.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Design and execute lesson plans that cover a range of subjects for students
• Assess and grade students' understanding and performance on the material
• Engage in communication with students and parents to address educational matters
• Foster a positive, welcoming, and secure learning atmosphere that promotes education
• Formulate lesson plans and instructional strategies aligned with school standards
• Administer assessments to gauge student progress and pinpoint areas for enhancement
• Create an interactive learning environment tailored to the diverse needs of students
• Organize and develop lesson plans and educational materials through activities such as quizzes, competitions, and group discussions
• Oversee and manage classroom behavior and activities

Requirements:
• Excellent scheduling capabilities
• Strong organizational skills
• Bachelor of Education degree and a Saskatchewan Professional A teaching certificate
• Effective classroom management abilities
• Capability to teach students with diverse learning needs
• Familiarity with the Saskatchewan Curriculum
• Cross-cultural experience is a plus
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
• Must provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract and a Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector Check
• Verification of previous teaching experience is required (if applicable)
