About This Role

Morogoro International School, situated in Tanzania, is a prominent educational establishment dedicated to delivering exceptional international education. We are in search of a committed and skilled iGCSE and A-level Chemistry Teacher to become a part of our Science Department. This role entails teaching Chemistry under the Cambridge curriculum at the High/Secondary School level.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct stimulating and effective lessons in iGCSE and A-level Chemistry in accordance with the Cambridge curriculum.
- Prepare students for their examinations and assessments.
- Create lesson plans that accommodate various learning styles.
- Track student progress and offer constructive feedback.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to improve the science program.
- Engage in school activities and help foster a positive learning atmosphere.

Skills and Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or a related discipline (minimum requirement).
- A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience, ideally with the Cambridge curriculum or comparable international standards.
- In-depth knowledge of iGCSE and A-level Chemistry content and evaluation methods.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to inspire and motivate students towards academic success.
- Proficient in utilizing educational technology tools in the teaching process.

Compensation

$1,700 - $2,500 per month (Extra Benefits - Travel to and from place of origin at beginning and end of contract - Housing and utilities - NSSF saving account (20% of gross salary saved monthly and returned to you upon leaving country))
