Maple Leaf Education is offering an exciting opportunity for an Oxbridge graduate (holding a degree in either Maths, Sciences, or Engineering) to collaborate with a select group of high-achieving students drawn from all Maple Leaf middle schools across China. The ‘Honorary Zhou Enlai Class’ pays tribute to the former Chinese Premier Zhou Enlai, reflecting his spirit of dedication to the advancement of China.
Students in this program engage in a rigorous and innovative curriculum known as the Maple Leaf World School Program (MLWSP), completing a minimum of five Advanced Placement (AP) courses. This program is acknowledged and benchmarked as equivalent to A-Levels by UK Ecctis, recognized as the premier standard for international curriculum accreditation. To further the Maple Leaf mission of nurturing elite talent, the Honorary Class is tailored for academically gifted students who exhibit outstanding character and a strong desire to succeed in gaining admission to prestigious universities, such as Oxford and Cambridge. The accomplishments of these students will reflect the legacy of Zhou Enlai, contributing significantly to the betterment and progress of both the nation and the world.

We welcome applications from graduates of any discipline. However, for this role, we will only consider candidates who have graduated from Oxford or Cambridge University to teach, mentor, and inspire our ‘Honorary Zhou Enlai Class’. This presents a remarkable opportunity to educate self-driven and ambitious students who possess a solid command of English. We believe that this position will also provide a transformative and enriching cultural experience while living, working, and traveling in China.
The salary range for Oxbridge Graduates is $56,000 - $75,500 Canadian Dollars, based on experience. It is not mandatory for applicants with a first degree from Oxford or Cambridge to hold a teaching qualification. The contract duration is for one complete academic year, 2026/27, based at the Shenzhen International Academy in the Greater Bay Area, Guangzhou Province, China.
