RAK Academy AL Hamra:

Situated in the southern region of Ras Al Khaimah within the Al Hamra community, RAK Academy – Al Hamra is an expanding primary and lower secondary institution that provides an adapted UK National Curriculum from Pre-K to Grade 8, along with UAE MOE subjects. Our newly established secondary school for Grades 6 to 8 will commence operations in August 2026. We hold accreditation from the British Schools Overseas (BSO), aligning ourselves with top international British educational institutions, and are equipped to fully offer the ECT induction for teachers.

The Role:

RAK Academy Al Hamra is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and inspirational Primary Islamic A Teacher to become part of our successful and dynamic Islamic department.

Essential Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Islamic Studies or a related field.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.

• Familiarity with the Ministry of Education curriculum for Islamic A.

• Strong understanding of effective teaching and learning strategies.

• High proficiency in utilizing technology to enhance teaching and learning.

• Ability to engage, motivate, and support students.

• A reflective practitioner with creative and innovative thinking capabilities.

• A positive, enthusiastic team member with a growth mindset.

• Willingness to actively participate in extra-curricular activities.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Experience teaching GCSE/IGCSE/A-Level courses (Early Career Teachers are encouraged to apply).

Desirable Qualifications:

• Training in the UK Curriculum or International Baccalaureate.

• Familiarity with Google Suite applications, such as Google Classroom.

• A proven track record of improving student outcomes.
