Egypt British International School (EBIS) is on the lookout for a talented and innovative Art Teacher to join our faculty for the 2026 academic year. We seek an enthusiastic educator who can ignite creativity, imagination, and artistic confidence in a supportive, culturally rich British-curriculum setting. The ideal candidate will aid in the academic, personal, and creative growth of students while nurturing a passion for visual arts and self-expression.

Requirements:

● Bachelor’s degree in Art, Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related discipline, along with recognized Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

● A minimum of 2 years of successful teaching experience, ideally in an international British-curriculum environment.

● Strong subject knowledge in alignment with the UK National Curriculum for Art and Design.

● Proven ability to deliver engaging, hands-on, and skill-based art lessons.

● Proficient in positive classroom management and ensuring a safe, organized studio atmosphere.

● Capacity to assess creative work effectively and provide constructive feedback.

● Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Job Description:

● Design and deliver high-quality Art lessons that meet National Curriculum objectives.

● Enhance students’ artistic skills, creativity, and critical appreciation of art.

● Maintain a safe, inclusive, and well-equipped art studio environment.

● Assess, track, and document student progress while offering timely feedback and assistance.

● Organize and participate in art displays, exhibitions, and creative projects throughout the school.

● Communicate effectively with parents/guardians about student progress and well-being.

● Work with colleagues on cross-curricular initiatives and whole-school events.

● Foster students’ confidence, independence, and creative expression.

● Attend weekly professional development sessions and engage in continuous learning.

● Participate in enrichment activities such as art clubs or community art initiatives.

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
