About This Role

We are seeking an exceptional and inspiring subject teacher who aligns with the academic and holistic principles upheld by esteemed British International Schools. A genuine enthusiasm for creating enchanting learning experiences, offering personalized pastoral care for each student, and delivering a diverse and fulfilling enrichment curriculum is essential. While prior overseas experience is not a prerequisite, a strong desire to engage in a truly international community is vital. Jerudong International School is dedicated to providing equal opportunities for all staff, welcoming applications from individuals regardless of any protected characteristics outlined in the 2010 UK Equality Act.

At Jerudong International School, our students embody the motto “Togetherness and Community.” This philosophy is exemplified through our Polio Points reward system. Students from Year 7 to 13 are encouraged to exceed typical expectations, earning rewards based on our six student aims: Leadership, Resilience, Communication, Thinking, Engagement, and Integration. Each Polio Point awarded contributes to the international End Polio movement, supporting donations to UNICEF.

We are actively pursuing our goal of establishing a sustainable school community, with the Green Flag Eco-School initiative playing a crucial role. Our mission is to carefully consider our impact on both our local community and the broader world. Additionally, we inspire students to contemplate how their actions can lead to global changes. The Sustainable Development Goals serve as our framework for fostering a more just, peaceful, and sustainable world for all. We aim to encourage our students to become socially responsible global citizens, prepared to address the challenges of the 21st century.
