About This Role
Rugby School Dubai is on the lookout for a dedicated and enthusiastic Class Teacher (FS1-Y2) to become part of our vibrant educational community.
Our School
Rugby School Dubai (RSD) is set to commence operations in August 2026, marking a new chapter in the legacy of Rugby School, where British traditions converge with the UAE's progressive aspirations. Embracing the principle of “The Whole Person, The Whole Point,” we emphasize a blend of academic rigor and pastoral care, enabling students to thrive both intellectually and personally. Through a comprehensive curriculum that includes academics, sports, arts, music, leadership, and House activities, each child will be encouraged to discover their voice, broaden their perspectives, and lead with intention.
More than just an institution, our school fosters a community where character drives achievement and tradition shapes the future. Catering to students from FS1 to Year 13, we are located in the Nad al Sheba area of Dubai and are proud to be part of the Aldar Education group.
The Post
Rugby School Dubai is eager to find outstanding Class Teachers (FS1 - Y2).
The ideal candidate will:

• Have at least two years of teaching experience in a British curriculum setting.
• Hold a PGCE or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Prioritize students’ needs in their teaching approach.
• Demonstrate a strong enthusiasm for professional growth.
• Be willing to engage fully in school life, contributing to our pastoral care and extracurricular activities.
Remuneration
We strive to attract and retain top-tier educators, as our school provides a rewarding and enjoyable work environment. We offer professional development opportunities tailored to the individual needs and aspirations of our staff, ensuring that our students are taught by motivated educators who remain current with effective teaching methodologies.
Additionally, the school presents a highly competitive, tax-free salary package that includes an accommodation allowance, medical insurance, an annual travel allowance, schooling for two dependents at RSD, and an end-of-service gratuity.
The deadline for applications is April 10 at 12pm Gulf Standard Time. Early applications are highly encouraged, as we may begin interviewing upon receipt of applications due to high interest in this position. The start date for this role is August 2026.
Interested candidates should complete the Schrole Connect Form and upload it along with a CV and a cover letter addressed to Mrs. Muireann Carroll – Head of Primary. Applications lacking these two supporting documents will not be considered.
Shortlisted candidates currently residing in the UAE will be invited to the school for interviews and further assessments, which will include delivering a lesson. Candidates from overseas may be required to submit a video of their teaching.
