Key Responsibilities

Curriculum Design and Implementation
(1) Deliver engaging bilingual instruction (Chinese/English) that sparks students' curiosity while establishing a strong foundation in literacy and cultural appreciation.
(2) Craft innovative lesson plans (PBL, IBL, etc.) that weave together core subject areas and tackle real-world challenges, encouraging creativity, critical thinking, and essential competencies.
(3) Provide tailored instruction and academic support, developing individualized programs to meet diverse needs, while offering group instruction and personalized guidance to facilitate holistic development for all students.
(4) Incorporate self-directed learning strategies to cultivate globally competitive and enthusiastic learners.
(5) Offer clear instructions, interactive materials, thought-provoking questions, and design engaging games and activities to enhance the learning experience.

Teaching Environment
A) Classroom and School Physical Environment
(1) Organize classroom corners effectively, utilizing natural and living materials, and creating open and exploratory areas to enable children to engage in experiential learning.
(2) Establish a safe classroom atmosphere, routinely checking for safety hazards, and implementing smooth daily transitions to ensure classroom safety.
(3) Showcase children’s work, closely observe their activities, and display their daily contributions and creations in the classroom, fostering a sense of belonging and identity.
B) Classroom Culture and Environment
(1) Develop a dynamic, respectful learning space that aligns with the school's values and guidelines.
(2) Demonstrate kindness, strength, and inclusivity in daily interactions with both students and colleagues.
(3) Actively foster a positive school culture through collaboration and mentorship.

Student Care and Behavioral Support
(1) Show genuine care for each child to ensure that every student feels valued and supported.
(2) Attend to children's physical, mental, and emotional health, being knowledgeable about child psychology, respecting children, and providing suitable emotional assistance.
(3) Establish classroom rules and transition procedures in line with the school’s behavior intervention principles, collaborating with the classroom teacher to guide children's behavior positively.
(4) Partner with classroom teachers to address children's daily needs and support their healthy growth.

Home-School Communication
(1) Through meetings, phone calls, and home-school interaction platforms, provide parents with educational guidance and assist them in addressing challenges related to their children's behavior, learning, and daily life, ensuring they understand the school's educational philosophy and teaching methods.
(2) Offer regular updates on academic performance, behavior, and achievements.
(3) Maintain open communication and consistency of information with the classroom teacher, regularly discussing classroom management approaches to foster a cooperative environment for children's learning and development.

Professional Growth & Collaboration
(1) Actively engage in professional learning communities (PLCs) to share best practices and innovative strategies.
(2) Participate in school-wide research initiatives and contribute to curriculum development.
(3) Dedicate oneself to continuous professional development to improve teaching skills and enhance student outcomes.

Beyond the Classroom
(1) Support extracurricular activities (clubs, events, competitions) to enrich student experiences.
(2) Organize or assist with school-sanctioned programs (e.g., cultural festivals, STEM fairs).
(3) Actively participate in school events, such as open houses, parent-child activities, and parent classroom sessions, to strengthen home-school relationships.

Compliance & Safeguarding
Strictly adhere to child protection policies, employee conduct guidelines, and related regulations.

Compensation

$52,440 - $75,430 per year (In addtional to the salary, an extra benefit package will be provided)
