Position Overview:

• The Performing Arts Lead Teacher will play a vital role within the school’s teaching teams. They will collaborate closely with Senior Leaders to establish strategic direction and help fulfill ESF’s mission of “creating the conditions so that every child thrives.” Beyond their specialist teaching duties, the Performing Arts Teacher will be responsible for leading best practices in inquiry-based Performing Arts education throughout the school. Their primary function is to model, inspire, and advocate for high-quality learning and teaching to secure the best outcomes for students.

General Requirements:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Education or a Bachelor’s degree in any field complemented by a Postgraduate

• Certificate/Diploma in Education (PGCE/PGDE)

• Familiarity with the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and its essential components is a plus

• Newly qualified teachers or those with teaching experience in a recognized educational institution

IMPORTANT NOTE: The iPGCE (assessment only) does not meet the requirements for Teacher Registration status from the Hong Kong Education Bureau, which is essential for teaching at an ESF school.

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
