Could you be our next inspirational SENCo or amazing Assistant Headteacher?

At St Martin’s we aim to encourage a love of learning and to open doors for all children to experience a wide and engaging curriculum. We are in the business of building people and so the whole child is of great importance to us. We want to inspire everyone in our school community to ‘be the best they can be’. If you feel that you have what it takes to be our next inspirational SENCo and, for the right candidate, Inclusion Assistant Headteacher, get in touch!

We would love to hear from you if you:

 Are very organised, can plan effectively to meet the needs of all pupils and are able to model this to others

 Are enthusiastic about all aspects of learning and teaching and passionate about inclusion

 Are highly motivated with high expectations of attainment and behaviour from all pupils despite any disadvantage

 Believe children learn best through first-hand experience including the use of manipulatives

 Are committed to your own professional development and ideally have the SENCo and DSL qualifications

 Have the ability to work as part of a hardworking, enthusiastic and committed team

 Demonstrate great inter-personal skills and have a good sense of humour

 Will make a significant contribution to the life of the school.

 An aspiring or experienced leader

 Keen to take responsibility for areas of school development

We can offer you:

 A GOOD rating school at OFSTED

 A supportive environment with a commitment to develop your career

 Highly motivated and enthusiastic children

 Good, practical classroom support

 A commitment to the well-being of all our staff

 Excellence, excitement and enjoyment.

 A well-resourced school

 Subject leadership time for those who lead subjects. This role is for a minimum of 3 days per week and is principally non class-based.

 ELSA provision for children with social and emotional needs

This is a very exciting time to join our Trust as we move into the next stage of our development where we can offer a wealth of support with collaborative opportunities to ensure all our schools have capacity to bring the best out of staff and pupils.

A range of activities such as forest school and sports make use of our lovely, wooded grounds and our large playing fields during and outside the school day.

We would strongly encourage candidates to arrange an informal meeting with the headteacher in person, or via TEAMs/phone call if required.

We think our school is incredibly special. We ensure a nurturing, safe, supportive, and inspiring school experience for our students. We look forward to meeting you.
