We are looking for an inspirational Teacher of Psychology and/or Sociology to join our ambitious and supportive community at Ousedale School, Newport Pagnell. You will deliver high-quality teaching that challenges, supports and inspires every student to achieve their full potential, creating an inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive and succeed.

Key responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons which engage, motivate and challenge students.
  • Set high expectations for all students and promote excellent standards of achievement, behaviour and attendance.
  • Monitor, assess and track student progress using academy and trust assessment systems.
  • Promote positive attitudes towards learning, personal development and aspiration.
  • Maintain strong subject knowledge and keep up to date with curriculum developments and educational research.

Pay range:

  • M1 - M6 £34,069 - £46,940
  • Full Time (32.5 hours)
  • Permanent
  • Suitable for ECT's

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (or recognised equivalent)
  • Degree in subject specialism
  • Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to create a positive, purposeful and inclusive learning environment.
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
