Cottenham Village College is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented Teacher of Mathematics to join our successful team from January 2027. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate teacher to deliver engaging and challenging lessons that develop students' mathematical understanding, confidence and problem-solving skills.

• Plan and deliver engaging, challenging and knowledge-rich Mathematics lessons.
• Teach Mathematics across the relevant key stages, ensuring excellent progress and outcomes for all students.
• Use assessment effectively to monitor student progress and provide high-quality feedback.
• Foster a positive learning environment built on high expectations and excellent behaviour.
• Support students of all abilities to develop mathematical confidence, fluency and problem-solving skills.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the Mathematics curriculum.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and continually improve teaching and learning.
• Participate fully in the wider life of the school, including enrichment opportunities and events.
• Build strong relationships with students, parents and carers to support achievement and wellbeing.

• A qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent).
• A strong Mathematics specialist with excellent subject knowledge.
