About This Role
A vacancy has arisen for a Senior Science Technician to provide high-quality technical support to our science staff.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised individual to lead our team of experienced technicians and oversee the day-to-day running of our two preparation rooms. You will play a key role in supporting the delivery of practical science across the department, ensuring that resources, equipment and materials are prepared efficiently and safely.
Our science department is friendly, supportive and well-resourced, with excellent facilities and strong uptake of science at both GCSE and A-Level.
The successful candidate will:
Have experience working in a laboratory environment, ideally within an educational setting
Demonstrate strong organisational and leadership skills
Be proactive, flexible and able to work collaboratively as part of a team
Have a commitment to maintaining high standards of health and safety

Hours of work: 35 Hours a week, term time only. 8.15am – 4.00pm, 45 minute lunch
