Location: NACIS Shanghai

NACIS Shanghai is seeking a Secondary PE Teacher to deliver exceptional teaching and learning experiences in the field of Secondary Physical Education. THE SCHOOL
Founded in September 2016, NACIS Shanghai provides a dynamic, challenging, and fulfilling educational environment for students aged 6 to 18. Our forward-thinking, internationally-focused school community features a unique bilingual, blended learning curriculum that culminates in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. Located in the Minhang District of Shanghai, our school is equipped with outstanding facilities that support our innovative teaching methodologies.

Our teaching staff includes professionals from 10 different countries, with notable representation from China, the UK, Ireland, and North America.

The role:
We are in search of a qualified Teacher of Secondary PE to concentrate on the following essential areas:
1) Exhibiting thorough knowledge of the curriculum while being adaptable to teach a variety of topics across different age levels within the PE department.
2) Ensuring that planning, preparation, instruction, assessment, and reporting are aligned with student needs and the expectations of the school.
3) Upholding high standards by crafting learning experiences that align with our school’s Secondary curriculum, fostering a culture of limitless achievement.
4) Establishing a respectful classroom environment that promotes inquiry and discussion as vital components of learning.
5) Actively contributing to the overall development and progress of the school.

The Successful Candidate will possess:
1) Qualified Teacher status, with a minimum of three to four years of experience teaching Secondary PE.
2) A profound understanding of effective teaching and learning theories, capable of catering to the individual needs of all students through organized classroom management, differentiation, and customized learning strategies.
3) A PGCE/QTS or a nationally recognized teaching license.
4) A degree in Physical Education is preferred.
5) A collaborative spirit and adaptability.

About you
You will be enthusiastic about working collaboratively and sharing your expertise, serving as an exemplary representative of the school. Your strong communication skills will enable you to build robust relationships with both parents and students. You will quickly adapt to our dynamic international environment and meet visa requirements for China, which include holding a bachelor's degree, a clean criminal background check, and at least 24 months of teaching experience.

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
