About This Role

Al Rabeeh Academy is seeking a passionate and experienced Humanities Teacher to join our dynamic and high-achieving team, starting in August 2026.

As a Secondary Humanities Teacher at our international British curriculum institution, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding teaching and learning experiences across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, including GCSE and A-Level courses when applicable. Your aim will be to engage students through stimulating and thought-provoking lessons, foster critical thinking and analytical skills, and create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that motivates every learner to reach their full potential.

What We Are Seeking:

We are in need of Humanities Teachers who can:


Provide engaging and well-organized lessons that meet British curriculum standards, with the capacity to teach Humanities up to at least GCSE level (and A-Level when applicable).


Exhibit strong subject knowledge, critical thinking, and analytical skills through creative and effective teaching methods across disciplines such as History, Geography, and related Humanities subjects.


Employ diverse formative and summative assessment strategies to monitor, track, and enhance student progress.


Contribute to curriculum development, departmental growth, and the creation of high-quality teaching and learning materials.


Support the academic and personal well-being of students while promoting the school’s values, routines, and high expectations.


Establish strong, positive relationships with parents through clear communication regarding student progress, achievements, and future steps.


Actively participate in school events, professional development opportunities, and broader school-wide initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:

Candidates must:


Be fluent in English.


Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject, along with a PGCE / QTS (or an equivalent teaching qualification).


Have experience teaching the English National Curriculum, preferably in an international setting.


Demonstrate strong classroom management skills and a commitment to student well-being.


Possess excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational abilities.
