Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement engaging, inquiry-driven lessons that foster curiosity, critical thinking, and a passion for learning.
- Establish a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that recognizes and nurtures individual strengths and diverse learning styles.
- Differentiate instructional strategies to cater to the varied needs of all learners, including EAL students, those who are gifted, and those in need of additional support.
- Utilize technology and innovative methods to enrich student learning and engagement.
- Effectively assess, document, and communicate student progress, using data to guide instruction and provide personalized assistance.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create and enhance curriculum plans, resources, and assessments that align with IB standards.
- Participate in the broader school community through co-curricular activities, events, and community initiatives.
- Cultivate positive relationships with parents and the wider school community to foster student growth and well-being.
- Commit to ongoing professional development and reflection to continually improve teaching practices.
- Embody the values of GEMS and the IB Learner Profile in every facet of school life.
