Primary Science Teacher(STEAM/TBL/PBL)

We believe in fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for learning through hands-on, real-world experiences. We are seeking a passionate and qualified Science Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a native or fluent English speaker with a strong background in science education, experience working with children, and the ability to create engaging, hands-on lessons centered around Project-Based Learning (PBL).

Plan and deliver engaging, hands-on science lessons to primary school students in English, ensuring lessons are accessible to ESL learners.

Develop and implement a science curriculum that emphasizes TBL and PBL, allowing students to apply scientific concepts to real-world problems and projects.

Conduct interactive experiments and demonstrations to make science concepts tangible and exciting for young learners.

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, collaboration, and critical thinking.

Utilize effective classroom management strategies to maintain a safe, respectful, and productive learning atmosphere.

Guide students in designing and completing science projects that align with TBL and PBL principles, encouraging creativity and problem-solving skills.

Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and maintaining records of their development.

Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate science into cross-curricular projects and school events.

Organize and oversee science fairs, exhibitions, or other events to showcase student work and promote the science program within the school community.

Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in science education and incorporate them into teaching.

Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the school’s continuous improvement.

Native English speaker with excellent communication skills.

Bachelor’s degree in Science, or a related field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science).

Teaching certification or equivalent qualification (e.g., TEFL, TESOL, PGCE) is preferred.

Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children, preferably in a teaching or educational setting.

Strong knowledge of primary-level science concepts and the ability to make them accessible and engaging for young learners.

Experience designing and implementing PBL activities in the classroom.

Ability to teach science in an ESL environment, with a focus on making lessons accessible and engaging for non-native English speakers.

Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate young learners.

Passion for science education and fostering a love for inquiry and discovery in students.

Work collaboratively within a diverse team.
