Role Overview:

As a Primary Mentor, you will guide learners through an engaging, inquiry-based curriculum that nurtures critical thinking and a love of learning. You will build meaningful relationships with learners, parents, and colleagues to create a collaborative and inclusive learning environment that values every child's unique potential.

Core Responsibilities:

• Subject Knowledge: Deliver a high-quality, tailored primary curriculum, incorporating innovative teaching methods and fostering intellectual curiosity.
• Curriculum Design and Adaptation: Plan and execute creative, inclusive lessons that align with the National Curriculum while addressing diverse learner needs.
• Learning and Teaching: Establish a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes respect, collaboration, and a passion for learning.
• Collaboration and Community: Work closely with colleagues, parents, and the broader school community to ensure learners' holistic development and success.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Experience: Significant experience in primary education, showcasing effective teaching practices and curriculum design.
• Subject Expertise: Strong understanding of the development of reading, writing, and math in a primary setting.
• Inclusion and Adaptation: Proven ability to tailor lessons to meet the diverse needs of all students and foster an inclusive classroom environment.
• Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a commitment to collaboration and community engagement.
