We are currently inviting expressions of interest from UK-based educators who are considering relocating to Melbourne, Australia, in 2025 or by the start of the Australian 2026 school term (which begins at the end of January 2026).

Key Selection Criteria

To be considered, applicants must fulfill the following criteria:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications with a solid understanding of the curriculum.
  • Proven experience in lesson planning, employing diverse assessment tools and strategies.
  • Registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) or the ability to obtain registration as a teacher in Victoria.
  • Demonstrated teaching experience in the relevant subject area.
  • A first aid certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
  • You must possess or be able to obtain valid Australian Work Rights. Bacchus Marsh Grammar can assist with visa support for successful candidates.

Information sessions and interviews will be conducted in London, Edinburgh, and Dublin towards the end of February and early March 2025, by arrangement. Final dates will be confirmed in 2025.
