Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with fellow teachers to create and execute an instructional program that aligns with well-defined curricular and school goals
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by Senior Leaders
Qualifications and Experience:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Education, or a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline, especially Mathematics, complemented by a Postgraduate Diploma in Education or an equivalent teaching credential, which includes a minimum of 10 weeks of practicum experience is required
- Teacher training/education recognized by Alberta Education
- Prior experience teaching Mathematics and/or related subjects at the high school level is preferred
- A strong command of both spoken and written English is essential
- While not required, please indicate any experience with IB or AP programs
- Candidates who align with the principles of Christian education are preferred
Commencement Date
The position is expected to begin in mid-August 2026. The initial contract is typically for 2 years, with the potential for renewal of additional 2-year contracts based on mutual agreement.
