Successful applicants must:

- Hold a minimum of a Bachelor's degree (preferably with a Master's in Educational Leadership or a similar field) relevant to the position.
- Have a proven history of successful senior leadership experience (preferably with prior Headship) in a large secondary school environment.
- Demonstrate a track record of improving academic standards and facilitating ongoing school improvement.
- Collaborate with fellow senior leaders to ensure alignment and enhance the overall leadership capacity of the DBS cluster.
- Lead with integrity, creativity, resilience, and objectivity.
- Develop and champion a clear vision for the secondary school that aligns with our overarching goals and enhances student achievement.
- Be proactive in curriculum development, creating engaging and relevant learning experiences that equip students for a promising future.
- Employ data analysis to drive decisions aimed at continuously enhancing academic performance and student success.
- Nurture a collaborative and supportive environment for staff, offering exceptional professional development opportunities to foster teacher growth.
- Mentor and coach senior staff, empowering them to become future leaders and advocates for excellence.
- Create a vibrant and inclusive school community that celebrates diversity and addresses the unique needs of all learners.
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and the wider community to achieve optimal outcomes for our students.
- Be a passionate proponent of our school's ethos and educational philosophy, actively contributing to shaping the DBS vision for secondary education.
- Promote character development traits.
- Establish, develop, and oversee a School Improvement Partnership involving students, parents, and staff for the Secondary phase of the School.
- Be enthusiastic about maximizing student potential through consistent, high-quality teaching.
