This individual will oversee all elements of the mathematics curriculum at Key Stage 3 and beyond, as Brighton College (Singapore) transitions from a top-tier Prep School to one of the foremost all-through schools in the region, catering to students from Pre-Nursery to Year 13.

This role offers an exciting chance for an educational leader to influence the creation of a secondary curriculum that will equip students for admission to some of the world’s premier universities. The chosen candidate will play a crucial role in aligning the educational offerings with Brighton College's commitment to establishing a world-class academic institution, uniquely distinguished yet rooted in the Brighton College ethos. They should showcase the enthusiasm, knowledge, and ambition to take charge of the entire student experience in mathematics education at the secondary level.

Reporting directly to the Deputy Head Academic, the Head of Maths will lead the pedagogical direction of the mathematics curriculum, ensuring that teaching excellence is integrated across all Key Stages. The Senior School at Brighton College (Singapore) will officially launch in August 2025, initially serving Years 7, 8, 9, and 10. The Head of Maths will instruct all Key Stage 3 year groups and will be expected to spearhead the teaching and learning at IGCSE level and beyond as the school progresses from August 2026. Consequently, the candidate must have a proven history of achieving high academic outcomes at GCSE/IGCSE and A-level in previous positions.

This role presents a significant professional opportunity for either a current or aspiring Middle Leader, who is eager to develop a new department and create an innovative and intellectually engaging maths curriculum.
