Our curriculum follows the national curriculum of England, providing Cambridge and Pearson qualifications in secondary education, including IGCSEs, A Levels, and BTECs. The main campus at Chaofah supports 960 students and is oversubscribed in many year groups. Starting in August 2025, we will expand our Upper School site and offerings to establish 'HeadStart College' as the leading educational institution in Southern Thailand.
In August 2023, we inaugurated a new campus in Cherngtalay, located in the north of the island. This two-form entry Foundation, Primary, and Secondary School (KS3 only) can accommodate up to 500 students and will transition to a three-form entry school in August 2025.
Head of Learning Support
We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Head of Learning Support to lead our vibrant team of Learning Support Assistants starting in August 2025.
The Head of Learning Support will create and implement strategies to address learning barriers, ensuring that every student can reach their fullest potential. Key responsibilities include executing the school’s SEN policy, assessing and identifying student needs, coordinating and monitoring Individual Education Plans (IEPs), and collaborating closely with students, staff, parents, and outside specialists.
Additional responsibilities encompass managing SEN resources, delivering staff training, maintaining precise records, and contributing to the strategic advancement of SEN provisions. The ideal applicant will possess teaching credentials, experience in SEN coordination, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to inclusive education. Essential Requirements:
· Recognized teaching credentials and a qualification in SEN coordination.
· Demonstrated experience in coordinating SEN provisions within an educational context.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
· Proficiency in English is a must.
Desirable Requirements (not essential):
· Experience in an International School setting.
· Teaching experience with learners who speak English as an Additional Language.
