We are currently seeking a passionate and driven FS2 Class Teacher and Year Group Leader to become part of our FS2 team in August 2026. This stimulating position includes leading teaching and learning initiatives across FS2 while also providing outstanding lessons to your own class. As a key player in our developing leadership structure, the selected candidate will play a vital role in raising standards and promoting collaboration within the year group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver consistently high-quality teaching that aligns with the National Curriculum for England
  • Lead the FS2 team in curriculum development, assessment, moderation, and implementation
  • Effectively utilize data and assessment tools to improve progress and outcomes
  • Mentor and assist teachers in the year group, fostering a collaborative and reflective team culture
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for all students
  • Build strong partnerships with parents and caregivers through effective communication
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives and support the senior leadership team
  • Ensure consistency and excellence in teaching and learning across the year group
  • Promote behavior for learning and wellbeing strategies that align with school policy

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed.) or PGCE with QTS
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a primary teaching role (preferably within the UK curriculum)
  • Previous experience in a middle leadership role or readiness to take on such a position
  • In-depth knowledge of the National Curriculum for England and effective pedagogical practices
  • Proven impact on student progress and achievement
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • ADEK approval or eligibility is advantageous

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
