3. Physical Computing & Robotics Development

· Collaborate with current staff to establish a comprehensive school-wide robotics program, focusing on curriculum integration and extracurricular opportunities.

· Deliver and enhance learning experiences using platforms such as:

o Arduino

o Micro:bit

o Robotics systems (e.g., VEX or similar)

· Guide students in interfacing hardware and software, which includes sensors, actuators, and embedded systems.

· Assist students in preparing for and participating in robotics and STEM competitions, promoting teamwork, iteration, and engineering design thinking.

4. AI, Emerging Technologies & Digital Innovation

· Introduce students to artificial intelligence, machine learning concepts, and generative technologies in an age-appropriate and ethical manner.

· Integrate computational thinking for AI applications, including data management, pattern recognition, and model assessment.

· Encourage thoughtful discussions regarding the ethical, social, and environmental effects of emerging technologies.

· Keep abreast of advancements in AI and educational technology, translating these developments into meaningful classroom applications.

5. Enrichment & Culture Building

· Establish and oversee extracurricular activities such as coding clubs, hackathons, robotics teams, and innovation challenges.
