About This Role
SCIENCE TEACHER (Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Technology) – CONCORDIA COLLEGE
We are seeking an enthusiastic science teacher to instruct secondary school students (Years 7 to 10).
• Deliver STEM education (Life Science, Earth Science, Physics, Chemistry, and Technology) to secondary school learners.
• Create an engaging, student-focused teaching methodology that includes project-based learning, collaborative activities, hands-on experiments, and the promotion of critical thinking.
• Incorporate digital and technological resources into your teaching practices.
• Foster scientific curiosity, independence, and teamwork among students.
• Strategically plan both short- and long-term to align with the school's curriculum and maintain consistency.
• Actively engage in collaborative efforts with fellow teaching staff.
• Aid in the development of a science laboratory for the institution.
• Work closely with your French STEM counterpart and the Head of Teaching & Learning.
• Contribute significantly to the establishment of the science program in the upcoming Lycée (Years 11 to 13).
CONTRACT DETAILS:
• Approximately 20 teaching hours each week
• Student demographic: French- and English-speaking learners, maximum of 20 students per class
• Start date: Late August 2026

• A degree in a scientific field (Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Engineering Sciences, Technology)
• A Master's degree (or equivalent) in science is preferred

• A collaborative mindset and the ability to function well in a team
• A talent for educational innovation, a constructive approach to discipline, and a willingness to implement differentiated teaching strategies
